What SidewallRef stores
SidewallRef is a client-side web app. The size reference is static data served to your browser, and every calculation runs on your device. The little it keeps - the sizes on your fitting worksheet, your Premium access code if you have one, and whether you dismissed the upgrade banner - is stored in your browser's local storage on your device. It is never uploaded to us, there is no account system, and there is no server-side record of what you looked up. Clearing your browser storage erases it.
Analytics
If analytics are enabled on the production site, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first: it is cookieless, does not fingerprint visitors, and reports only aggregate, anonymous traffic (page views, referrers, country-level location). It cannot see what you look up or identify you.
Payments
Premium, when offered, is sold through RevenueCat and Stripe. Your email and payment details are handled entirely by those providers, and we never see or store your card information. To recognise Premium access, an anonymous purchase identifier is stored in this browser; it also serves as your access code for restoring Premium on another device. It is not linked to your name.
No sale of data
We do not sell, rent or share your personal information. There is no advertising and no third-party tracking beyond the aggregate analytics described above.
