Reference use only
SidewallRef is a reference tool. It performs arithmetic on the numbers printed in a tire size code and reproduces published load index and speed symbol tables. It has no knowledge of any vehicle, and it does not approve fitments.
Fitment is not our decision, and not our responsibility
Nothing on this site tells you that a size will fit a vehicle. Replacement tires must carry a load index and speed rating that meet or exceed what the vehicle placard specifies. Clearance at full steering lock and full suspension travel, wheel width and offset, brake and suspension clearance, axle and gross vehicle weight ratings, inflation pressure, and any legal requirement where you drive are the responsibility of the vehicle owner and the fitter. Confirm any change with a qualified tire fitter and with the vehicle manufacturer's own specification before driving on it.
Nominal, not measured
Dimensions derived from a size code are the nominal dimensions of the size. A real tire's measured dimensions depend on its mould, its construction and the rim width it is mounted on, and manufacturers publish measured figures that differ from the arithmetic. The manufacturer's specification sheet is the authority for a specific tire.
No warranty
SidewallRef is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, and we accept no liability for losses arising from its use. Do not rely on any value here for safety-critical, commercial or regulated work without independent verification.
Not affiliated
SidewallRef is an independent reference. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to any tire manufacturer, vehicle manufacturer, retailer or standards organisation. Standards and organisations are named only to say where a published value comes from. See Sources for what was used and how it was checked.
Premium
Premium features, when offered, are sold through RevenueCat and Stripe and are subject to their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled anytime from the link in your receipt email; lifetime is a one-time payment. See Premium and Privacy for details.
Refunds
Not happy with a purchase? Email socialreminderinfo@gmail.com within 14 days of a first purchase, or within 7 days of a renewal, and we will refund it. Send the message from the email address you used at checkout, and include:
- the email address used at checkout (if you are writing from a different address)
- your access code, shown on the Premium page while you are signed in on the browser you purchased from
- roughly when you purchased, and which plan (weekly, yearly or lifetime)
- the last 4 digits of the card, if you have the receipt handy
That is everything needed to find the purchase and process the refund. This policy does not limit any statutory rights you may have.
